Welcome to GamePoint Performance! Our friends at CUT Camp asked to design a special training program for all the 2018 campers. Although you are no longer at camp getting daily help with your skills and fitness training, we all still want to help you develop as athletes. As you have probably already heard, you get two months of membership to GamePoint Performance for free. After the sponsorship time period ends, this comprehensive program is only $15/month.
The CUT Camp/GPP program is a 24 week, 4-Phase program with two High Intensity days each week as well as two optional Low Intensity days each week. The program is designed to help you start from ground zero if you haven’t spent much time in the gym or conditioning. It is very beginner friendly. The gym days are going to take a little less than 90 minutes and will be full body workouts. (Our main program days tend to only take 60 mins but because we are trying to offer as much as we can in the two recommended days, your CUT program takes a little more time.) These gym days will help you take ownership of the movements early and build strength and power on top of that foundation. The conditioning will help you build a more powerful aerobic engine which will help drive growth through proper recovery. This engine will also help you recharge on the field more quickly as well as between points during games. Unlike nearly all conditioning programs out there, ours is focused and progressive. For example, you will see explosive aerobic work toward the end of this short program but not in Phases 1 & 2.
Something else we should mention: this program is also designed to help you get a feel for our amazing cutting edge programs. For those of you new to training, the CUT Camp program will get you up to speed for our main programs. For those of you who are used to training, you may start the program and find that you’d like to step up the difficulty more quickly. No matter what, we’d love to hear how your training is going or answer your questions; don’t shy away from emailing us. Also, be bold in your training! Let your friends and family know you take this seriously. Post on Instagram or whatever and make sure you tag us @gameptperform so we can follow your training journey!
